Curse of the Mediocre is a new special curse unique to Jericho.
During the curse items and pickups are turned into lower qualities.

• Only items of quality 0 or 1 can spawn, unless they're a quest item.
• Only Hearts, Coins, Bombs, Keys and Batteries are affected.

Pickups

Hearts

• Eternal Hearts are turned into Double Hearts.
• Double Hearts are turned into File:Icon red heart.png Scared Hearts.
• File:Icon red heart.png Red Hearts are turned into Half Red Hearts.
• File:Icon black heart.png Black Hearts are turned into Soul Hearts.
• Soul Hearts are turned into Half Soul Hearts.

Coins

• Lucky Pennies are turned into Pennies.
• Dimes are turned into Sticky Nickels.
• Nickels are turned into Double Pennies.
• Double Pennies are turned into Pennies.

Bombs

• Golden Bombs are turned into Golden Troll Bombs.
• Giga Bombs are turned into Mega Troll Bombs.
• Double Bombs are turned into Mega Troll Bombs.
• Bombs are turned into Troll Bombs.

Keys

• Charged Keys are turned into Keys.
• Double Keys are turned into Keys.

Batteries

• Mega Batteries are turned into Batteries.
• Batteries are turned into Micro Batteries.
