Jericho starts with two 
red heart containers and a few 
coins.
Every floor, he suffers from a 
curse, however, he can sacrifice some health in the 
sacrifice room to increase his chance for a 
blessing instead!
Curses

Jericho can suffer from several new curses unique to him alongside the default ones.
Curse of the Mediocre: Lower quality items and pickups.
Curse of the Greed: Items must be bought, lose coins on hit.
Curse of the Ailment: Prevents healing.
Curse of the Flood: Rooms are flooded.
Curse of the Champion: All enemies are champions.
Curse of the Miasma: Enemies fart upon death.
Curse of the Tower: Periodically spawns 
Troll Bombs.
Curse of the Return: Enemies respawn.
Curse of the Wall: All uncleared rooms contain Stoneys.
Curse of the Rapture: In uncleared rooms periodically spawns 
Crack the Sky lasers.
Curse of the Glacier: Slippery movement.
Curse of the Lock: Inescapable 
boss room and barred doors.
Blessings

Blessing is a new type of affliction that has a positive impact on the floor.
At the start of the run, chance to get a blessing is at 0%.
The chance increases by 10% when going down a floor, or by 20% when sacrificing health.
Once the blessing appears, the chance goes back to 1%.
The blessing chance is displayed in the Found HUD!
Blessing of Quality: Higher quality items and pickups!
Blessing of Deterioration: All enemies are devolved!
Blessing of Integration: More Trinkets appear, smelt them on pickup!
Blessing of Knowledge: Full map reveal!
Blessing of Perpetuity: Grants 
golden bomb and 
golden key, chance to not discharge actives!
Blessing of Charity: Free shop items and pickups!
Blessing of Love: Items give health!
Blessing of Protection: Periodically gain a shield!
Interactions
Birthright: Removes the current curse, adds a blessing and guarantees another next floor!
Black Candle: Cannot appear while playing as Jericho.
Rune of Dagaz: Removes blessings aswell.

Jericho is based on the story of a city with the same name.
